Obtaining Visa for Your Parents & Relatives

For those whose parents will be coming to the graduation day from Malaysia, here is a quick information on what will you need to do in order to obtain visa for them. First, you have to get invitation letters. These invitations will allow your parents to apply for visa. To get the letters, you need the following items:

  • 1 photocopy of your passport (front page only)
  • 1 photocopy of your own visa and white immigration card
  • 1 photocopy of passport of EACH person you are inviting (front page only)
  • 850 rubs for EACH person you are inviting
Go to the dean's office, Alauddin office side. Find the first room on your right. The person in charge is Olga Semenovna.

A minimum of 15 days is needed before the invitations will be ready. When they are ready, they must be sent back home. Then they can be used to obtain visa from the Russian embassy.

Currently, it is advised for you to send in these documents at the end of February/early March. Earlier than that, your applications will not be processed until due time.

Graduation Quotes

Your families are extremely proud of you. You can't imagine the sense of relief they are experiencing. This would be a most opportune time to ask for money. - Gary Bolding -

A graduation ceremony is an event where the commencement speaker tells thousands of students dressed in identical caps and gowns that "individuality" is the key to success.
